What Should I Keep in My Golf Bag?
Golf Bag Checklist
When you are running out the door, you don’t want to be asking yourself: “What should I put in my golf bag?”
It’s probably too late to go over your golf bag checklist and find all of the random items which should really live in your golf bag.
We thought you might like to print up an actual checklist and see if you’ve remembered everything – click the button for a PDF!
Get A Good Golf Bag And Keep It Organized
We recommend that you buy yourself a good, big golf bag with lots of pockets and keep it stocked properly at all times.
When someone asks you where your golf tees, shoes, markers or gloves are, you should already know: they are in your golf bag and furthermore, they are in the specific pocket where they belong.

- Sun screen
- Lip balm
- Bandaids & first aid sundries (such as antiseptic spray or ointment)

- Cash (have a little on-hand… just in case)
- Business cards (in case you like to make new friends or do a little networking out on the course)

- Flask (is that wrong?)
- Koozies (for cold drinks if you bring or buy them)
- Face mask (you may want to enter the pro shop and observe “Covetiquette”)
- Hand sanitizer (another COVID-19 addition to daily life!)
Items to pop into your golf bag as you leave:
- Mobile phone (observing golf etiquette: RINGER OFF!)
- Charged-up battery pack in case your phone dies
- Fresh snacks like sandwiches, boiled eggs, cut-up fruit, cheese sticks, etc.
- Hot or cold drinks if you like
You will doubtless find more things that you need in your own bag (that we would not need in ours), but this checklist of essentials, nice-to-haves, and last minute golf bag items should help you when you go to your bag and organize it properly!
